On August 18, 2026, footage attributed to a source using the name “CyberLeek” began circulating online, alongside images claimed to show a complete map of GTA VI’s setting, Leonida. The initial batch showed protagonist Jason driving, stealing a vehicle, and confronting an NPC.
What the footage appears to show
- Jason driving and stealing a vehicle, with police responding
- A vehicle HUD that appears to include a fuel gauge and a vehicle-condition indicator
- A confrontation with an NPC using a wrench, followed by a police response
The purported Leonida map
Images shared under the CyberLeek name claim to show the full state of Leonida divided into five counties: Vice-Dale County (around Vice City), Mariana County (southern wetlands and keys), Kelly County (west), Leonard County (east), and Lummox County (north), along with an airport on a southern island. Multiple outlets independently reported the same five-county breakdown.
This map has not been confirmed by Rockstar Games and should not be treated as the final in-game map. PC Gamer has specifically noted the map’s authenticity is less certain than the gameplay footage, and community-made fan maps predicting similar layouts have circulated for years.
